vw passat tdi hard to start - egg1
My vw passat tdi estatehas been very hard to start maybe 20 sec of turning before the engine fires. It will then go for from 5 to 10 min before cutting out. After starting again(20 sec) It will run again for 5-10 min.
any ideas

You need to give more info than that! What year, mileage, when hot / cold. When was fuel filter last changed? Are all the pipes to the filter / pump secure and in good condition no splits and no crazing? Look for air bubbles in the pipes.

problem sorted, tiny pinhole on fuel line well before fuel filter
