I had an air leek on the fuel flap locking mechanism, now the pump isn't working. My Haynes Manual says if the bi pressure pump unit (located right hand side of boot) runs for 35 secs (which it did) an internal control unit will automatically turn it off. Does Anybody know how to get this system back up and running properly ? Is there anyway of swithing the bi-pressure pump back on ? The relevent fuse in the engine compartment is fine by the way.

Got me stumped....
The only thing I can suggest is to disconnect the battery for a few minutes and see if it resets.

Cheers, I have had the pump in pieces, quite a simple mechanism, but no joy. It looks like a new pump is needed as it maybe burnt out when the system leaked.
