I can't believe how cheap they are - I ordered thirty litres of super unleaded and it was there, next day, left on my doorstep in 2 litre plastic bottles.

Think they are taking the**** have a look at the specialist fuel section, especially if you drive a car previously driven by Michael J Fox.

They're taking the Mick?

Aww crap - I'd just placed my order for a good deal of antimatter.

Not to mention the fact I'd just got the flux capacitor sorted out on the old DeLorean.

Probably why the thread is entitled "Mail order fuel AGAIN"!!!!
Mail order fuel again. - Adam {P}
I assumed it was an old(er) site and that Martin hadn't seen Tom's post else why would he post the exact same link a few days later?

;-p

If you're right, I full expect this post to disappear...please

You were right though - I hadn't seen the earlier reference to it. I tend to ignore threads that are huge with the experience that they degenerate into waffle and/or babble.

The 'again' was about and earlier 'cheap petrol import' web site that seemed to have disappeared before it came up with the goods.

I tried to order some of the budget 50ron fuel but there's a problem with the ordering system.

Would have been ideal for putting fires out.

I can't believe people think it's a hoax. I ordered a gallon and it arrived next morning. I was so excited I yelled to the postman as he drew up, "Is that my petrol"? He gave a cheery grin and a thumbs up as he got out of his van and lit a cigarette.

Now, how does the Sale of Goods Act work? I hadn't signed for it or taken delivery before he blew up, so can I get my money back?

This site is a con.

I sent off for some dilithium crystals, but when they arrived I found out they "couldnae take it"

This line is great ........

"What's better is that there's no minimum commission amount - even if you sell just 1 litre of fuel, we'll send you 20ml at the end of the month in a jiffy bag".

Nothing like a good side splitting laugh!

It's not quite so daft as it sounds. In the very early days of motoring, before garages and petrol pumps, petrol came in tins. Motorists bought them from chemists, or else they were delivered by normal (horse-drawn) carrier.

Yes it was me. I found I had an old profile that I registered with in 2003 and forgot about. I wonder if you can delete a user?

I think I prefer EIII to GTLK. Mind you, many years ago there was a Renault 14 GTL and I was known by a nickname which was the first three letters of my initials (GTL). Anyway, went out one night with some mates in my Mum's Honda and when we got back to the car a Renault 14 GTL had parked next to the Honda and had GTL stickers all over the bodywork. As if by magic they all walked to the Renault and tried to get in. I asked them what they were doing and they could not believe that they had gone for the wrong car! It was like they were hypnotised.

Not that mad. At least before you've read the blurb which is obviously ironic.
If I remember rightly, someone linked to a similar website about a year ago which was actually serious. A company called Drax (only remember because they were named after a Bond villain)
