I had to disconnect the battery while I changed a panel bulb in the dashboard. Now everything has gone back together fine and working fine .... but when I slow down (to make a turn for example) the engine is cutting out. Has disconnecting the battery for 24 hours upset the ECU or something? Any light shed on this would be great! Y

I'm pretty sure I read in my manual once that if I reset the ECU, I should leave the engine idling for a certain amount of time and then go gor a drive at higher revs so that the ECU "re-learns".
I could of course be making that up.

Yes, I have read this too on other forums, so have just taken the car for a spin up the A41 (lovely road!) and all seems fine now. Thanks! Y

Good although slightly worrying that my advice appears to have been accurate for once.
Be afraid - be very afraid.
