Sorry to say you're out of luck, at least Chester/Wrexham - both Ford Dealers are owned by the same company (qks - you know who I mean !!) & both are equally poor. Only one I haven't tried is M53 Ford so can't comment on them.

There's a decent general garage - can't remember the name, but it's in the shadow of the walls, right by the main entrance to the racecourse. Did a couple of things for me when I lived there 98-9. Not that that helps much...

Chester/Wrexham area seems to be a bit of a "bermuda triangle" when it comes to finding good dealers - had the misfortune to try most Ford dealers (except M53 Ford), Citroen dealers & Peugeot Dealers. My work mates have tried Rover, Volkswagen & Audi - no one has a good thing to say about any of them !!!

If your car isn't under warranty probably best finding a good independant - if you have a performance car I hear good things about Graham Walker near the Chester football ground.

Probably Crane Bank Garage - they certainly had a good reputation many years ago - owner was an ex policeman if I recall rightly.

I always got good service in recent years from E.S. Jones Garage, Dobshill, near Hawarden - just a few miles from Chester.

That's the one! Knew I'd remember it if I saw it. Recommended to me by someone in Chester who looked after his cars, and had quite a stable by the time I left.
