I have a Peugeot 306 Estate on a W Plate. It has just run out of warranty and the air bag light is flashing is this anything to worry about and how do I stop it?

It *could* just be the seatbelt tensioners - common fault with Pugs.

FLASHING airbag lights (intentionally drawing attention) *usually* mean a fault with safety implications (with tensioners or something else including the bag itself). A steady light is *usually* a poor wiring connection. A reputable Pug dealer should not charge much for a diagnosis.

I have cured this problem on my other half's Pug 306 T-reg estate in the following way: move passenger seat forward, lift up carpet under seat, find push-together connectors, pull them apart and re-connect. I believe some people solder them.
