Seat 1.4 (P) - Not starting !! - Redandwhitearmy
Seat Cordoba 1.4 (P reg 54k miles) will not start if left for a day or so. When I attach the charger to the battery it goes straight to fully charged and after a while it will start while still connected. I can use it that day but the following morning or later that day (when parked while at work) it again just quietly humms with no response.
I've changed the battery three times and have had it checked by auto electrician who couldn't find anything. - Any suggestions ?

Try the chip in the key. Give your key a shake if you can hear a rattle then that may be your problem. I had the same on my Ibiza 97 (P) took me forever to suss it out..

Do you mean starter just spins. ie solenoid does not operate? if so starter problem..Or should I say solenoid
