Hi,
I have a diesel N reg Peugeot 106. Starting has been getting gradually worse up to a point where it requires priming every time to start now. Further investigation has led me to a diesel leak above the fuel filter housing. When priming diesel leaks quite fast out of the outlet above the fuel filter. When the engine is running air bubbles can be seen in the clear pipe running from the filter to the pump.
See picture at:

What is causing the leak, and is there anything I can do to fix it?
Thanks,
Nick

it is a known rare problem. Buy a new (or s/h) filter housing.
The housing distorts I believe (SWMBO's car has been trouble free in this respect)
