We're talking 3.5 V6 Initiale for about 20 000 Euro in Germany, 2-years old. HJ's Car-by-Car Breakdown says it's:
"A very different driving experience from almost anything else.
Curiously un-carlike to drive, but not unpleasant."
Hmmm... I'm scheduled for a test drive on Saturday. What do you think ?

Offer them 5,000 Euros cash and they will pull your arm off...
20,000? well Hansel and Gretel did enter a house made of sweets...

I know when it comes to depreciation it drops like a stone, but what about reliability ? Better than the Laguna in that department ?

See my profile. The only Renault I like. Make sure it has sat-nav. A pretty cool car.

I've been there & tried it. Now I know why HJ's Car-by-Car Breakdown says it's 'curiously un-carlike to drive.' Cause it's like a little bus and that's that, it just feels like it is. Amazingly, those huge 18" wheels proved very comfortable indeed.
So... a 2-year all 'loaded' Vel Satis 3.5 V6 with almost 40k on the clock or a brand new New-Look Citroen C5 2.0 lacking xenons & leather. To have or not to have...

Given that they're both French and loaded with kit, I'd go for the one with the better warranty!

Having a Fabialous time.

Nah, nah, nah - you got it wrong pal, all wrong. Vel Satis IS loaded, but C5 2.0 (brand new) IS NOT (we're talking no more than 20 000 Euros).
