why dont you do a top tips(for cars not for getting red whine of carpets i mean)forum
nobodys interested in classifieds or polls
but those tips for cars might be handy especially for newly qualified drivers or for people who are hard of thinking.

There is already one somewhere...try searching in the technical forum.
People ARE interested in classifieds and polls btw
|
Like people called Derek...?
It may seem a good idea but would almost certainly collapse into a mish-mash of tips for various models etc.
The Technical Forum is the best place for such matters.
|
technical forum = things like making sure new drivers cancel their indicators instead of leaving them on.

>>... new drivers cancel their indicators instead of leaving them on..>>
Hardly technical, unless we are dealing with people who are hard of thinking - whatever that means...:-)

There is something similar - try a search using 'Trade Secrets' as the thread title.

There already is.

Try telling that to people who have bought cars from the classifieds, or the 100+ people who vote weekly.

Dozens of hints and tips:

There's nothing new under the sun and that's just one of hundreds, no thousands, of similar websites. No requirement for any more, especially as servers cost money (lots of it) to run and maintain.
In the meantime, here's a website for all Fiat Brava/Bravo lovers...:-)

Both of them?

I reply from somewhat of a distance but having some experience of trying to do something similar on a local forum which turned out to generate more questions than answers, I suggest your idea would do little beyond producing a lot of generalisations which might or might not be helpful.
How much better I would have thought the fact you can post that your Grandpa's Accord makes a funny noise at 38 mph but only when it's raining, then receive a barrage of prompt responses ranging from "they all do that" to "have you changed the oil in the last year or two" from knowledgeable BR-ers, aimed at specifically helping.
