I recently bought a Leon Cupra 20VT. I have been running it on super unleaded. Is this necessary or would 'standard' unleaded suffice? Thanks

What does it say on the inside of the filler cap?

Use Super (BP Ultimate or Optimax ideally), the engine will thank you for it as it's better in many ways :-)

I've run them on standard 97RON unleaded with no problems!

But 97 Ron isn\'t standard, it\'s Super Unleaded!
Unless you mean just regular SUL, rather than Optimax or ultimate that seem to promise everything like converting your Focus into Ferrari performance, etc LOL

I'm a diesel driver, never buy the stuff y'see!
