I havnt flushed my engine out during oil change since I read somewhere that flushing engines out with high mileage can remove hardened bits of crud,which otherwise wouldnt move,which can in turn cause blockages and problems in your engine,but Ive noticed that not doing it during oil change makes the oil turn black a lot quicker after oil change.I have 102k on my VWGolf,is there any risk in flushing an engine with this kind of mileage?

We've had another thread on this topic. I think the concensus was that the risk didn't justify the dubious benefit. It would be much better to put the money spent on flushing agents into changing the oil more frequently.
My regime with a high mileage engine is to halve the oil change frequency but to change the filter at every alternate oil change.
Also see if you can tilt the car to get a better drain to the sump plug.

I wouldn\'t use flushing oil in an engine at this mileage. I would increase the frequency of the oil changes to at least twice a year or 5000-mile intervals and perhaps even more frequently. Oil doesn\'t cost that much, and if you don\'t want to do the job yourself then there are plenty of places (e.g. Kwik-Fit) happy to do it at very competitive prices.
If you\'ve used mineral oil to date, stick to it. Castrol have now labelled their \"older engine\" GTX as being for engines that have done 75000 miles or more; I use it in my 1984 Capri 2.8i (62k), whose oil I change every four months, its limited annual mileage notwithstanding. Last Saturday I was happy to see that the old stuff was brown and still translucent rather than black and opaque, and that some bits of crud were suspended in it. Don't bother with engine flush unless you use Auto RX.
