I have a 1993 Ford Escort 1.8D, and my father has then same car but it is 1992. Problem is that my car is slower than his car.
Is it becouse of KAT or something else?

In 1993 there was a TCI diesel,but in 1992 only an N/A(normally aspirated);later there was a TC which came between the two-are you comparing like/like?.

No both of them are normally aspirated diesels.In the car book
they have same number of hp. Somebody told me that the gas pump (bosch pump) needs to be "kalibrated", but i'm not wery happy about someone doing that. Thank you for replying this message.
