Last week my Fathers Range Rover became a total loss after a fire in the off side engine compartment. It was only two years old. Rover say the warrantee no longer applies because the car is a write-off. I can't believe this. The vehicle has been maintained properly and I would expect Range Rover to replace it.
Has anyone else any comments to make.
Regards, Navigator.

As its a total loss, it is an insurance matter, not a warranty matter.
If the cause of the fire can be traced to a material defect with the vehicle, or negligence on behalf of any servicing agent you and/or the insurance company can reclaim any loss from the manufacturer from that party.
