Just done the 40,000 miles plug change my '97 model. I have removed some OEM motorcraft AYRF22P Platinum and replaced with some AYFS22C supplied by a ford dealer as being correct for a fiesta 1.25.
The oweners manual specifies AYRF22P.
As they are different to the OEM ones I wonder if anyone "in the know" could cross check the new number to confirm they are correct? They look like a "coooler" plug as the insulator is shorter.
Many thanks in advance.

Rating of these two plugs is the same, so no issues there.
The OEM plug has a 1.3mm gap, with platinum pad on the centre electrode.
The replacement plug is , I understand, a Copper cored centre electrode design. The gap may/should be 1.3mm.
The difference in the designation for suppression is the the AYRF plug was UK manufactured, whereas the AYSF is USA mfd.
Same suppression on both plugs.
Provided these AYSF plugs have 1.3mm gap, you should be OK. Service life should be at least 20,000 miles if you drive at WOT most of the time.
All in my opinion of course!
