Hi Both my peugeot 306 appear to have the same fault, after 5 years the keyfobs are eating batteries i change them for new batteries and all works ok for two weeks when the batteries are flat again any ideas a replacement from peugeot is £94 silly price

try new batteries but get some plastic tweezers or suchlike to install batteries dont touch them with anything else including fingers or you can use latex gloves it might work no harm in trying if it saves £94 those remote batteries are very sensitive.
cheers ..keo..

I’ve repaired a couple of key fobs recently due to the tactile switch ageing and becoming super sensitive. The slightest pressure was causing the fob to trigger. Replacement microswitch found at RS Components. £1.92 for 10. Regards Peter
