G,
In Pattaya, Thailand at the moment. The place is swamped with HD's. Being in that world as it were, do you know is there an organised meet on?
Lots of Angels and Outlaws eyeing each other up (not in a good way).

Hey bro!!
You're in the wrong place wrong time. Last weekend we had the 1st Pampanga Bike Meet in Angeles -- 1200 bikes registered, and of course Angeles has all that Pattaya has to offer and more.... ;+) My old lady and I had a great time with the American Steel guys (at least what I can remember of it).
Try www.tahitianqueen.com/ and www.harleyresort.com/harley_bar_english.html
You should be able to hook up with some bro's there and get the dirt on what's happening.

Thommo a catch up:
My guys know of nothing special in TH (if there was an organised meet it would have been posted here, because we often share rides across the region). Might be just a ride out from BKK with a lot of bikers -- after all this is the dry season and we only get a limited time to rock 'n roll. Bear in mind it's weekend too.
Let me know what you find. PM me if it's not fair to take up HJ's bandwith.
Angels vs Outlaws? I can't see the Thai cops letting that happen and I've never seen trouble before in Pattaya or indeed anywhere in Asia and I've ridden most every country here.
Why not rent a Hog and join in....

G,
Turns out it was a bike 'week' organised by Burapa motorcycle club, Thailand. 12th-15th February, 'week' like most things having a different meaning in Thailand.
I was there on the rented 1200 Sportster. Fun time was had by all.
Even the Angels/Outlaws know better than to mess with the Thai police who have a firm policy of shoot first and let Buddah sort them out.
I am also happy to report that the services of a rather nice 'tour guide' have been secured and she has shown me some very intersting places..
Happy days...

Yes I finally got that info from a Manila Mad Dog bro I was drinking with the other night. He said it was quite a good event. Unfortunately our own Bike Week is off this year (can't find a sponsor), but there will be smaller regional ones to go to.
1200 Sporty, eh? Ideal for the job. Something about how Harleys, oriental babes and rock 'n roll seem to connect so well...
Finding a good tour guide is vital, they can show you places you wouldn't find otherwise...
I guess you missed HJ on his Honda Wave....that was a while back.
Try and make it to the Land of 7,107 Islands next time.

LOL HJ, we'll make a biker of you yet.....
