Ford fiesta 1.4 pertol mk6 1.4L - Not cranking - strickjumpers

Car not cranking 50% of attempts.

Perseverance will usually find success.

Flashing red immobiliser warning light at top of the das.

Display shows red dashes only.

Problem is slowly getting worse.

Any advice as to the culprit?

Battery is fully charged.

You’ve got an immobiliser issue . Do you have another key to use ?

No just the one unfortunately.

It is a manual one without battery or buttons.

Obviously has an embedded chip to be read by column.

No idea what to do about this issue

All fiestas come with at least 2 keys . Both should have a 3 button remote . Sounds to me that the key you are using may be a “clone “ . These can be unreliable.
