A stone chip saw to my windscreen cracking in the 'A' zone a few months ago. A replacement was arranged via Auto Glass.
The first screen was defective. There was light visible at the bottom of the screen.
The second screen has smears on the inside by the camera (rear view mirror) meaning that the lights are stuck on high beam.
A third screen is on order now as the engineer noting the warranty claim said the screen required replacement. There is no way of accessing those smears from behind by dismantling the rear view mirror housing apparently.
Can I tell AG, I want my local Audi dealership to take care of the replacement screen? Do the same laws apply as if one were rejecting a car within 30 days? The screen is under warranty but I am worried about what they will break or fit incorrectly next.
Thank you.
