Skoda Yeti - Notifying DVLA of sale to trader - Jay Lockwood
Hi, I have sold a car on motorway.co.uk to a dealer in Northern Ireland. They are sending a transporter over today and he’s making a few stops, collecting a few cars and getting to me this evening, which is fine.
I’m worried that the online DVLA notification isn’t available after 7pm. Obviosuly I’ll make sure payment is taken prior to them taking the car but should I give them them V5C and then notify online tomorrow morning or should I do it the old way and complete yellow section 4 and keep that and post it
off, rather than doing it online?

Thank you

Jay

On-line the next day is still quicker & more reliable than the post.

Remember to note down the V5c numbers before you hand over the V5C

I took a photo of the V5c so anything further down the line could be dealt with.

Be prepared for a "price discussion" before they make a payment to your bank - any scuffs. etc inside & outside is the target to drop the agreed price.

They are all at it - WBAC took exception to 2/3 odd stone chips on the bonnet edge on a 10 year old, 80K Lexus - the car was immaculate inside & out. Demo + 1 owner + full Lexus service history
