I seem to have a problem with excessive condensation in the cabin of a three month old Nissan Micra 323.
Previous threads lead to changing the "pollen filter" apparently this model does not have one.
No water leaks have been detected.
What is the solution to my problem?
Thanks.

Hi,
Hate to state the obvious but are you sure you are set to 'fresh air' as opposed to 'recirculate'. There is usually a stalk you slide across to change this near the heating controls (although on the new Micra it may be a switch with a light just for recirculate). If you leave it on recirculate for any length of time, excessive steaming up and condensation results.
Hope this helps,
Regards,

If it has A/C then check that drain is clear.
Also at this time of year you may get quite a bit of condensation if the car is only used for short trips. I find my Merc (which stands outside and is only used for short journeys) tends to get a bit damp inside. If we get the odd sunny day I leave a window open for an hour or two to air it out a bit.

Ghp, Condensation seems to be a fact of life, especially in the winter. It appears to be more of a problem with aircon than without. It's certainly the main irritation with my 6m. old C5 but we also have virtually the same problem with my wife's Focus and my boss's BMW, although that senses condensation on the windscreen and gives a quick blast of warm air so it clears - doesn't help the rest of the windows though. We've all checked the same things suggested here, to no avail. It was never as much of a problem in my old non-aircon Xantia, or Passat before that and so on and so on..........

Any parked car with sun on it in the weather we are getting, will have clear windows on the sunny side and fogged ones on the shady side. Guaranteed.
