Renault traffic business - Stop start permanent fault - aroon

Can anybody assist with a fault on a 2020 renault traffic business.


Comes up check stop start, active fault, cannot be cleared.

Read codes with autel
DF083 STOP START MODULE CIRCUIT INCORRECT SIGNAL

Snap-on diag shows
DF0043 stop start configuration error.

Battery tested to be in good health and BMS on negative terminal shows around 1.6 volts varying.

I switched the battery and the BMS terminal with one of a different van and made no difference to the fault, still wouldn't clear. Autodata has no wiring diagrams for the vehicle so I don't know what voltages and resistances to expect from bms or alternator.

Any suggestions on diagnostics or where to look to confirm the fault?

Do the clutch switches show correct operation of pedal down and released? There are 2 switches on the pedal .
