is the fuel filter ? It's an old style 1.3 push-rod engine.
Thanks

Dunno what Mark it is, but I recently changed my daughters fuel filter on her 94 Azura, which may be similar. WHen you opened the bonnet, it was on the back wall (bulkhead?) on the lower right hand side. Quite a large shiny can effort...and easy to change, thankfully

Depends on age, but normally they have a plastic in-line type universal filter that can be bought from any motor factor for a couple of pounds.

If it's the same as my Dad's Fiesta, and I strongly suspect that it is, the fuel filter is a metal canister with a pipe on each end. Facing the car with the bonnet open it's down on the right hand side, mounted on the bulkhead.
Don't forget to run the engine with the fuel pump fuse before removing the filter, in order to remove the pressure. Alternatively, do the job after leaving overnight without having run the engine before-hand. The filter will only fit in one direction, labelled with an arrow on the new one.

Sorry, that should have been "run the engine with the fuel pump fuse removed"
