If anyone’s looking for a no nonsense C-SUV, Bigster’s arriving early 2025.

If someone is currently looking for such a vehicle, it is unlikely they'd want to wait two years!

Looks like a cross between a Volvo XC40 and a Jeep Avenger (2023). Something you'd see in a 20yo sci-fi film set in the not-too-distant future.

Another fantastic name. I wonder how long it took them to come up with that gem. I suppose it suits the generic look of todays cars.

What's a C-SUV?

Sorry, I’m always telling people not to use TLA’s (three letter acronyms). It’s a C segment Sports Utility Vehicle.
C is what you’d probably describe as a family sized car.

According to that link a Sport Utility Vehicle is a J segment, with no apparent distinction between sizes.

No hard and fast rules to motor industry segmentation, but a B-SUV is understood to be an SUV based on a B segment platform, eg Renault Captur. A C-SUV is an SUV sitting on a C segment platform, eg Renault Kadjar (or soon to be Austral).
Ignis could be an A-SUV.

Still a while off

Hopefully it has 7 seats

It’s a shame they don’t offer a budget version of the Jogger in 5 seat form that can be used as an estate

A £14 grand new estate would be very tempting

The Jogger is the budget version of the Jogger and if you remove the 3rd row seats (they unclip) it becomes a 5 seater..............

Also confused as to why you want the Bigster to have 7 seats, but you don't want 7 in the Jogger?

I don’t want a bigster, merely passing comment that a car of its size should have 7 seats. Dacia sold a decent number of Logan MCVs to the private hire taxi trade in my area, since it’s been discontinued there is no alternative budget estate on the market
