Hi everyone,
I'm now the proud owner of a Jap import Prelude Type-S (the 220bhp monster jobby).
For a six year old car that's done 75000 miles it's in absolutely gorgeous condition, and the engine is amazingly sweet. (Revs out to 8000rpm without missing a beat.)
It's been well looked after and the guy who's had it for the last two years has changed the oil every six months himself (using top quality fully synth oil), he's put new plugs in (the platinum tipped ones), and generally kept a close eye on it.
However, there must be a few things that it'd be worth doing on a car that's done this mileage.
I'm assuming the timing belt/cam belt is one thing that should be addressed as a matter of urgency, seems silly to risk losing the engine over a rubber band.
Anything else I should be looking to do, or can I afford to just deal with things as they arise?
