Yes , done both , about 3 years ago . Beautifully presented . You can’t do the factory unless you are a Ferrari owner . Also visited Pavarotti house , in the same area . While in Bologna , we did one of the specialist food walking tours .

Pisa and Florence , both dreadful airports . Can’t you fly direct to Bologna ? Don’t ask for spaghetti Bolognese in any restaurant, you’ll get thrown out . It doesn’t exist in Italy . Spaghetti Ragu , is want you want .,

IHe has been studying in Cork and graduates in June, so this is his "treat" before going back to Canada where his family live. His choice to go to Florence and Pisa.

I prefer trofie with a light creamy mushroom sauce.

That might be a good thing as it perhaps shows they are very reliable as much as they are uncommon? :-)

And back to the Museums, Modena an easy walk from the station,

Shuttle bus to Maranello but more like a large minibus, and only runs twice a day....

Maranello well worth it, but controlled entry, even with prebooked tickets.

All in all a good day for petrolheads.

No Ferrari taxis then? That would be a great way to arrive! Glad you enjoyed your day there ORB!

Except only one of them are Italian !

Ferrari N.V., the parent company of the car maker, is a Dutch registered company.

Most of the rest of the Italian motor industry is also Dutch owned, through Stellantis.

Lamborghini is the exception, being owned by VW Group.

Ironiaclly, Morgan is now Italian owned, through Investindustrial !!
