Nissan Qashqai 1.6 diesel Xtronic 2018 - Scraping sound - Bluesriff75

My mate has got a scraping noise when he travels over a speed hump.

it sounds like the engine splash guard is hitting the speed hump.

I have found damaged to the guard in two place’s.

the vehicle on 19 inch wheels, do you think this is the issue.

ps. I have checked the suspension and it look’s ok

Has the car been lowered? Presumably the 19 inch wheels are not part of the factory spec.

It has not been lowered and the 19 inch wheels are factory spec for this model.

I found a video on the internet about the Nissan qashqui anti roll bar
D Bush making a noise ,it.s very similar to the sound my mates getting.

my mate has sprayed some oil on the D Bush to see if that stops the

issue.
