Hi
When I was growing up I really, really wanted an Isuzu Piazza because I thought they looked great.
I still think they look great and their rarity value makes them even more special.
The thing is that I've found an unmolested 1987 model with 6 months MoT, 85,000 miles, 1 0wner from new with Full Isuzu service history and lots of old receipts in excellent condition for about £500.
Would I be really stupid to buy it and just be getting myself a load of problems or is it a good car at a good price?
Thanks in advance
Chris

I always liked these too for their great looks: they were popular when I worked in Dubai around that time. Be interesting to see what responses you get.

If you've always liked the car then go for it. Obviously you wouldn't want to use it as an everyday car, but if you wheel it out once or twice in the summer then it would be fine. They were good cars in their time and fairly robust, I imagine getting spares now could be a bit of a nightmare though. £500 ?? I spend that on a fortnight's shopping for the family!

Go for it. £500 isn't a lot to fulfil a dream (depends how hard the £500 was to come by in the first place though). Sounds like it's best as a second car though, and keep it nice.

They are rare enough to be worth £500 breaking up for spares.
Live your dream - go for it, you will only regret it if you dont!

Agreed - it's fantastic when you finally get to be able to buy something you've fancied for years, isn't it? Then again, there were cars I wanted when I was 15 which nowadays...
