Honda CR-V - Honda diesel - tbg

Hello all

I'm still looking around for a car and a honda CRV 1.6 diesel is a possible option , any opinions on this diesel , is it chain or cam belt and any idea as to when they need changing

Can't find specific info on the CR-V, but the info i found on the Civic 1.6 i-DTEC says chain. Unlikely the CR-V would be different.

Seems to be a great engine though, one of the few modern diesels which doesn't seem to be affected by emissions equipment related problems.

Lifespan of car if regularly serviced.

Nice quiet powerful and very economical.
