Mitsubishi Shogun - Smoking problem - Shoguns all the way
I’ve just had an engine rebuild on my shogun 3.2 basically
my timing chain snapped so I brought a second hand low
mileage engine and had a rebuild done checked everything
New water pump , new timing chain, new thermostat
New head gasket , new sump gasket, all new fluids and filters
And now it’s got a smoking problem has anyone got any advice or idea

Please be more specific. What colour is the smoke, and how/when does it do it?

Black smoke - Too much fuel or too little air. Worn injector nozzles, blocked air intake or exhaust, stuck open EGR valve.

Blue smoke - Burning oil. Worn valve guides or valve stem seals, worn cylinder bores or piston rings, worn turbo.

White/grey smoke - Unburned fuel. Loss of compression.

White vapour - Coolant in engine cylinder. Faulty cylinder head gasket or cracked head or block.

This list is not exhaustive, but hopefully might give you a few things to look out for.
