I had a look to see if the DKW engine was related to that used in the Wartburg and Saab 96. Apparently, prior to WWII, DKW did produce a design for a stroker triple for car use.

These designs were no doubt nicked by the Russian and Allied forces, in the same way that the pre-war DKW RT125 engine was copied globally for motorcycle use.

One of my cousins had one from new in the early sixties. It was yellow with, I think, green wheels. It looked to me as if it could be the offspring of a Ford Consul! The engine had a strange, tinny sound, not unlike Ariel Arrow and Leader two stroke motorcycles. He used it daily, travelling around East Anglia to service office equipment. After he'd retired, it was quite rare, even in Germany, and he took it there once a year to a rally. By the time he died in 2004, it had rotted away.

COLOR enhancement. after spraying the other 2 and doing a comparison. I felt that the F11 actually did enhance the color https://19216811.cam/of the paint xender.vip/a bit, adding a bi https://testmyspeed.onl/t of pop to color. looks are very SUBJECTIVE but this is what my eyes saw. but like I said in the negatives, it did not polish or remove any defects.
