The Youtube channel 'VHS Rallies' has loads of period videos of rallying from the 80s, including several RACs, rallies in Wales and Scotland, plus other world champs rounds like Corsica.

I was particuarly taken with this one: the rally of Wales from 1984. Features Tony Pond chucking an SD1 Vitesse around like an Escort

Can't beat the noise of an original Quattro full tilt!.

Here is another very impressive piece of driving, Ari Vatanen's 1988 Pikes Peak run in the Peugeot 405 T16. Absolutely amazing, especially a few bits further up where he is driving one handed using the other to shield his eyes from the sun!
