Very likely to be hidden away behind the dashboard. However, as it looks like you are in the USA , the system is likely to work on a different frequency to those available here in the UK .

Under the dash near the ignition switch. There will definitely be a wire from the ignition relay tied into it. First, call the guy you bought it from. See if you can find the wiring schematic for your car and locate your start and ignition wires under your dash. Though it may be as simple as laying on your back in the footwell and shining a light up under the dash to spot it.
