Yes, up here in Cheshire I think the indie I switched to a couple of years ago, when the previous one decided to close his business to concentrate on racing, would do the same.

If this van has the 1.9 PD Tdi 130 diesel engine then 180k is just run in. Mine had 210k plus when I sold it on. Never failed an MOT over 12 years. No oil used and nearly 50mpg. Unfortunately, like all VAG products it was the other bits that started to go wrong, so I sold it to an enthusiast who was prepared to fix and repair as he goes along. My friend in the village has an 05 plate VW van too. He has trouble with doors locks and other small stuff, never the engine and gearbox though. Everyone says this engine will do starship mileages if looked after. Good luck.
