My wife's Clio started to make an engine noise 3 weeks ago which was diagnosed as a water pump. The car is 4.5 years old and done 22000 miles as it is used as a second car.

The garage ordered a pump and was promised it 2 days later. However they were then told that there isn't one in the UK. This week they have loaned my wife a demonstrator but still no delivery date. The garage have been very good but is this sort of delay normal these days. I have escalated it to Renault customer services but still waiting.

Any thoughts welcome ??
