Yes, the letters D,S and G!. They have a less than steller reputation for reliability.
In fairness, the 'wet clutch' version on the 2.0TDI is supposedly more reliable and sturdy than the dry clutch type which you get on smaller engines, but personally, i still wouldn't go there. For the money i'm guessing this Golf is going to be, you'd probably get a brand new kia Ceed turbo diesel auto with 7 years warranty, as opposed to the 1 year left (unless extended) on the Golf.
