Audi A3 2 door Saloon 2009 - The word MUTED is displayed and my sound is low - Msaffin

The word MUTED is displayed on my dash and my sound is very low on the radio, just a slight amount of weak treble. no bass whatsoever..

Radio is a Audi Concert as standard

Can anyone tell me how to unmute it. i have obviously pressed something wrong. I have no mobile phone connected. This is only recently happened.
Any advice appreciated.. TIA

Is it possible that there is a phone kit previously fitted ? You could try disconnecting the battery for 5 mins to see if that restores functions .

thanks for that. do you know if the audi concert radio is code protected, as i didnt have code when i bought th car. i know disconnecting the battery may knock it out...

The radio is code protected, but should self start after battery reconnect.
