There is a pay wall but there are £100m worth of cars - he just collects cars.

Rodger made is millions from the "Take a Ticket" queuing systems for the supermarket deli .

I googled his name and you can see an interview with him by Autotrader, where you can see some of the cars.

I've seen Rodger's collection. He must own most of the AM Lagondas that still exist.

I thought he made his money from lockup garages. He buys any he can get his hands on.

I've been in there too. Apart from the twenty-odd AM Lagondas, he must have the most Douglas Dragonflies in one place. An also impressive load of big, fully faired, Honda motorbikes that (so the story goes) were gifted to St John's ambulance, but they couldn't find sufficient folk with the relevant licences to use them - all with a few miles on them!

A suitable time to remind everyone about tomorrow's Classics on the common at Harpenden, over a thousand vehicles. I won't be going, too hot. www.classicsonthecommon.com/

I have had the pleasure of viewing the collection and meeting him. He is an extremely pleasant gentleman who made his money from both lockup garages and the queueing system used in many places (simple but brilliant).

The one that sticks in my mind is the 48 cylinder Kawasaki which needs a separate 75cc engine to start it. It needs a braver man than me to ride it!

I haven't been to Classics on the Common for a few years. Last time I got there around 5:30 around half the cars had already left with a few arriving. A friend texted me that they seem to be setting up more crowd control in the wake of Stevenage!
