If you can feel it with your nail, it won't polish out. So it depends on what the car is worth, how you feel about it, how noticeable it is etc, as to what to do. If you want a decent job, one of the mobile outfits should fix it to a good standard for a 100 quid give or take. Otherwise some touch up and a very very fine tip artist brush can do a reasonable job, but it will still be noticeable. I have the same dilemma with both of our cars, 7 and 9 years old, so reluctant to spend hundreds on scuffs
