Hi,

2003 diesel cooper, was 100 miles into a journey and was stopped for a break, when went to restart it it was doing this?

Sound you need a new battery. Check if the battery can be toped up with distiled watter an do so. Low level of electrolite cand be the cause of your battery issue.

Have recharged the battery to full, don't think that is the issue, it turns over, it's like its not getting fuel but it didnt have any error codes when the AA guy plugged in the diagnostic?

Any way to check its getting fuel?

You will need diagnosis kit to check the fuel pressure. Could be a blocked fuel filter. As this is running a Toyota engine , I think the filter is located at the rear of the car.

A car's alternator should provide enough power to recharge the battery while its running.

If you've had to remove the battery to charge there could still be something wrong with it. How old is the battery?

It could also be a failing starter motor. Mine would turn the engine over but just wouldn't fire. Car would bump - push start first time every time.
