Renault Kangoo Van - Kangoo immobiliser - Spencer Botly
Hi.
Whilst trying to get the reversing light to work I seem to have immobilised the van. It was working fine then it stopped stopping.
The stereo is now acting as if the battery was disconnected, it wasn’t
The immobiliser light on the dash is NO longer on and does NOT come on when the van cycles through the dash lights on start up.
The engine will turn over but does not fire up.
I have checked all the fuses and they seem to be fine.
The indicators also fail to work (I don’t know if this is connected, but they did work before)

I have tried the key in the lock and push button trick, this didn’t work.

As I say It was working. I was fiddling with the wires on the reversing light, including a non working reversing kit (after market). And then the stereo looked as though it had had a power cut and now the engine just spins and doesn’t fire.

Help please ??.

Looks like a fuse has blown . Check fuses in engine bay and cabin fuse boxes.
