Hi

Ever since my daughter had a new clutch on her Clio there has been a strange knocking noise from the accelerator.

It only happens:

a) when the accelerator is pressed (even quite gently or small adjustments)

b) When it is being driven (i.e. engine on, no noise if the pedal is pumped with the engine off)

c) When the clutch is out (no longer makes the noise if you press the clutch in on the go and hit the accelerator)

d) When the car is in gear (all gears)

My suspicion is that it's likely related to the clutch job but from that description does anyone have any ideas as to what the issue might be?
