2001 Fiesta 1.25 belt (alternator) - dougal74
The rubber belt which runs on the drivers side (exterior) of the engine block causes engine vibration, especially at idle and high speed, as it turns since there is a wobble on the roller/pulley at the top of the engine. Any ideas from the forum as to the cause or possible remedy? It is a 2001 1.25 Zetec LX with aircon. Many thanks.

there should be a 3 year Ford mechanical warranty. Get a Ford dealer to fix it.

It was serviced by an independent by a previous owner so it the warranty won't cover it. Any ideas?
