Vauxhall Corsa - Corsa D fuel cap - WT54

Hi,

I have a 2010 Vx Corsa D 1.4 auto. The engine management light keeps coming on after refuelling. I have a hand-held OBD2 reader, but this shows no fault code, yet if I erase the messages, the light goes off for a while. The light seems to come on about a mile after refuelling, no matter how much I put in. Could the cap be the problem? If you don't fit the cap carefully, a petrol smell gets into the cabin.

Any advice welcomed.

If the mil light is on, there will be a fault code stored. You are going to need a bigger scanner. The fault may or may not be related to the fuel cap system.
