The halogen headlights on my Golf Match have servo motors for manual height adjustment of the beam angle for when the car is loaded. These servo motors are both doing their own thing together as if the manual control was being set up and down. The behaviour is evident when the car is stopped and the ignition is on (I can hear the two servo motors).
I'm pretty there's no automatic levelling system with halogen headlights. The problem was not an MOT failure but it was noted.
Has anyone encountered this before?
Any suggestions to stop this behaviour?
