2014 Vauxhall Astra 1.7 CDTi ecoFLEX Tech Line Est - Navi 650 Bluetooth Issues - Alexander Foster

I've recently bought the above make/model over the weekend, and appear to be having issues with the bluetooth function.

I can connect my phone (iPhone 8PLUS) to the car no problem, and make and recieve phone calls, however the bluetooth "app" on the dashboard won't light up, not allowiing me to play music/listen to audiobooks through it.

Can anyone help me please, as so many Youtube Videos can't help me?

Thanks,

Alex

If you've tried the vehicle handbook for help and not had any luck, how about getting the place you have just bought it from to sort out?

The Vauxhall Astra forum might be a better port of call than here for very model specific problems.

Agree an Astra J forum may be more helpful but I also wonder whether the car may need a software update as the phone is newer than the car?

Thanks for the update. Where would I be able to get a software update for this?

To be clear, it may not need an update, but a VX dealer will be able to check. The price may put you off though! Have you posted on a model specific forum?

Just a thought. Have you tried connecting an old phone?
