I've swapped seat belt reel [ mot advisory frayed seat belt] and now the warning light stays on. anybody know of a diy fix for this
Does the belt reel have a pyro tensioner (yellow plug)? If the ignition has been switched on with this disconnected,then the airbag light will show. It will need diagnostic kit to reset it.
i had disconnected the negative terminal for some time prior to taking out the reel. yes it does have a yellow connector.
