VW Golf TDI Bluemotion 1.6 - Strange Sound from Mk6 TDI Bluemotion - TheNeil29

I own a VW Golf TDI Bluemotion 1.6 (2014 plate). I have noticed a hollow sounding noise from the rear passenger side when I start exceeding 40 mph. It happens between 40-60mph; then stops.

Visual look shows nothing obvious untoward.

Can anyone suggest anything as to what the fault could be before I take it to my VW Dealer/Local Garage?

Have a look at the inner wall of the tyre,

I've seen and heard some odd noises from damaged tyres.

One had a bulge the size of an orange!

... or possibly a wheel bearing.
