SEAT Altea XL 2013 - washer motor not working - Marcello

Hello, following the ice and snow on these days the washer seems not to work; whenever I activate the washer, there is no usual noise coming from the pump to indicate that the pump is pushing water into the tubes: in case the motor is broken is there any tutorial on how to replace it? Is it something you can do it by yourself?

Answers cover making sure you have strong enough concentrate of winter washer solvent to prevent freezing and checking your washer pump fuses.

As already suggested,check fuses in both the engine bay and cabin fuse boxes first. Access to the pump requires removal of the plastic stone sheild in right front wing..May need to remove road wheel. One pump does both front and rear washers. Do you have headlight wash system,and does it work?

As above to access pump. Then maybe you can de ice pump and tank with hot water or a hair dryer?
