The display on the dash, between the spedo and rev counter, has suddently gone almost unreadable, being almost white.

The clock has stopped showing 11.40, the auto box indicator is still working and the trip and milometer is still working.

Any ideas ??

Display has sorted itself out.

After an hour and half on the motorway chugging away and getting the cabin nice and warm the display started to clear and then returned to normal service. Local independent MB garage reckoned it was just cold and damp from not moving more than a mile or so at a time over the Christmas period.

Perfect for another 172 k miles.

Might have been a dry joint on the circuit board. If you can get it out for a good visual inspection. Otherwise might just last for another 172k miles !.

Good to hear that it's still giving you good service and hope future problems are minor.
